Raging Against Various Elements
it’s about building your family, one heartbeat at a time.
Life doesn't wait for us to get our act together
and neither does Raging Against Various Elements.
The new techno-jazz musical by Connor Schumacher. It's loud, it's raw, and it's everything you need to feel when you've been knocked down by life’s hardest blows. For seven years, grief, love, pain, and death have been dancing together. Now, it’s time to rage for life. A raw, unfiltered story.
For Connor, the last few years have been a trip through loss and heartbreak. Raging Against Various Elements tells that story on the dancefloor—where every step is a chance to take back control, or let it slip completely.
“After my sister unexpectedly passed, dance saved my life. It held me, it helped me let go, to breathe again, to sweat through tears, to rage in the face of loss. It took me all this time find what I was looking for. To find family” says Connor.
With the help of artists Boris Acket and Elsemarijn Bruijs, Connor has built a space that doesn’t just move, it pulses with life. Pascal Pinkert (aka DJ Europarking) brings the beats, fusing techno and jazz into something that shakes your core. Mirrors bend, lights distort, and six professional ravers—Connor’s new family—push the boundaries of what dance can be.
This is for you if you've ever experienced loss. If you've ever fought through rage. If you've ever blamed yourself. If you ever attempted to find love when felt hopeless. Raging Against Various Elements is about reclaiming your life on the dancefloor; it’s about building your own family, one heartbeat at a time.
