Rave Studio

So let's get moving.

ARK Rave studio is an ambitious concept for overall fitness, wellness, and dance activism. A space to enthusiastically and admirably exercise and practice being human by engaging the Raving body; precariously progressing in all directions. A dynamic meditation; a high intensity interval training; a rave aerobics session where we build and practice the metaphors we want to live by in the future. Building the skills and stamina needed to strengthen the values of an intersectional, inclusive rave culture.

ARK has developed a practice of hosting dance spaces by inviting and guiding people into the state of dance using metaphors related to the body, physics and radical scientific facts. By shaping the intention of the space and bringing awareness to ourselves, and the space and we share it with; we use our steps on the dancefloor to build new habits by embodying the values we want to live by.

The things we practice physically become our skills mentally - so let's get moving.

Rave Studio Sessions
After our sessions at ADE '21, ARK was invited to bring their Rave Studio Experience to DRIFT Festival Nijmegen, where we hosted a Rave Experience Workshop and shared our practice on the dance floor, together with the Rave Crew, Connor Schumacher and Master of Metaphoric Ceremonies. Next stop will be Utrecht, where Rave Studio will join KlupKikker in honor of the 50th anniversary of Theater Kikker.

For ARK Rave Studio Sessions; come as you are or how you want to be.
Expect to sweat, to smile, to be challenged
Except a loud, complicated, joyful experience
To bring? A towel, a fresh set of clothes, some water.
